Our promise, our vow

Abhimantrit before dispatch

How every Kishori order is blessed in Vrindavan before it reaches you.

What Abhimantrit means

Abhimantrit (Sanskrit: अभिमन्त्रित) means 'invested with mantra' — a sacred object that has been consecrated by chanted verses, offered at the altar, and touched to the deity. In our tradition, sacred wear is not sacred by material alone; it becomes sacred through this act of offering.

Every mala, tilak, and locket we ship carries this small consecration.

The steps we take

1. Handcrafted in Vrindavan. Our artisans are Vaishnava devotees who work in small workshops walking distance from the temple. This isn't outsourced.

2. Offered at the altar. Before packing, each item is placed at the family altar and briefly touched to the deity. This is the moment of offering.

3. Blessed with kirtan. The Hare Krishna maha-mantra is chanted over each order while it is packed. We keep kirtan playing in the workshop.

4. Sent with prayer. A small prayer is offered for whoever receives it. Your Kishori piece is not just a purchase — it is prasad.

अभिमन्त्रयत्यन्नेन तर्पितः स्यात्

That which is offered with mantra becomes satisfied — becomes sacred.

— Vedic tradition

Why we say it out loud

Many devotional e-commerce sellers make sacred claims casually. We take this seriously. If your piece needs a specific consecration (mantra initiation, guru's blessing, priest-performed ritual) — Kishori's abhimantrit is not a replacement. It is a small first offering, done with sincerity.

For deeper puja, we recommend visiting your temple or family priest.
